Speedway is Helping El Paso Children’s Hospital Change Kids’ Health October 28-30

Speedway is fueling miracles for kids and their families at El Paso Children’s Hospital, a member hospital of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, October 28-30. Like Halloween, hospitals can be scary and it is important that children’s hospitals have the support they need to help it be less scary.

This Halloween weekend, stop in your local Speedway and donate to fuel miracles and change kids’ health. Your donation will make a difference in our community by raising funds for El Paso Children’s Hospital to improve medical treatments, equipment, and facilities along with provide child life services that put kids’ and families’ minds at ease during difficult hospital stays.  These funds allow El Paso Children’s Hospital to address the most challenging health issues of today and prevent and prepare for those to come.

Speedway Funds have supported kids like Weston. Weston had abdominal pain and massive constipation issues. After two and a half years trying to get a diagnosis an MRI revealed a Type IV sacrococcygeal teratoma, a rare pediatric tumor. Today he’s in recovery and sees multiple specialists, including an ophthalmologist endocrinologist and neurologist.

Speedway has been a proud partner of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals since 1984 and has raised more than $158,000 locally for El Paso Children’s Hospital. Their support has brought joy and healing to kids treated in the hospital in many ways and they understand children’s hospitals are at the frontlines when it comes to protecting the health of future generations. This is why Speedway wants to support Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals to foster the business owners, creators and leaders of tomorrow.

Thanks to you and Speedway in El Paso, TX. for helping change kids’ health and change the future at El Paso Children’s Hospital.
