Andrea was diagnosed at age 4 with craniosynostosis and needed several brain surgeries to prevent her from dying. CMN Hospitals funds purchased the Biofire Torch Analyzer that provided Dr. Yates with rapid diagnosis of pathogens that could affect Andrea’s recovery. Having the Biofire at EPCH returned Andrea’s results in an hour versus days for traditional testing.
