As we celebrate Thanksgiving this holiday season, we want to say thank you to the supporters of El Paso Children’s Hospital through the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. You give so much again and again and we absolutely could not do our work without you – the Miracle Makers – so we offer to you these top ten reasons why we’re so grateful and thankful for you:
#10 – Thank you to our Celebrity Partners. Since 1983, hundreds of celebrities have offered their support in countless ways from visiting sick kids in hospitals, recording Public Service Announcements, appearing on Telethons and just being so vocal at all opportunities to tell everyone how important it is to give to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.
#9 – Thank you to the staff members of every business who supports CMN. You are the ones who help us prepare the materials, display the posters and signs around your establishment and ask your customers to donate to CMN. It is your enthusiasm and endless energy that brings in the donations that help sick and injured kids. You are an outstanding part of this process!
#8 – Thank you to Extra Life and the thousands of gamers around the world who play games in support of local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. You are our heroes!
#7 – Thank you to each and every business/organization that gives a percentage of their sales to CMN or participate in events such as Miracle Jeans Day. We adore you: Chick-fil-A, Nothing Bundt Cakes, El Paso Chihuahuas, Re/Max, Chico’s, Dairy Queen’s Miracle Treat Day and Panda Express.
#6 – Thank you to the media who so wisely get the word out for us during our Radiothon and Telethon. A big shout out to The Fox 92.3, TriColor FM 94.7, Jose FM 93.9 and ESPN Deportes 1650 AM and KFOXTV 14!
#5 – Thank you to the Miracle Balloon Campaigners because you put your money where the miracles are. Every dollar stays right here at home to provide specialized medical care, equipment, research and education for our critically ill or injured children at El Paso Children’s Hospital. Thank you to Albertsons, Food City, Walgreens, Corner Store, Costco, Walmart & Sam’s Club!
#4 – Thank you to El Paso Children’s Hospital! We are so grateful for the physicians, nurses and all the staff members who get up in the morning for no other reason than to make children better!
#3 – Thank you to the strong and hearty parents and relatives of the precious children who desperately need the support of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. You have the hardest job and you do it with dignity and a vibrant spirit that motivates us to do even more!
#2 – Thank you to those who donate their dollars $1 at a time to the Miracle Balloon Campaigns. We know you are busy with your own life and when you are at the register, all you want to do is check out and get on with your life. But you stop and donate $1 or more and it is from funds such as yours that truly make the miracles happen! We positively – without-a-doubt – could not help sick and injured kids at El Paso Children’s without your thoughtfulness and compassion to purchase a Miracle Balloon. We love you!
