El Paso Children’s Receives Level 4 NICU

Imagine newborns so tiny one can easily fit in your hand. Today, El Paso Children’s Hospital with their partners University Medical Center and Texas Tech University Health Sciences El Paso, announced to the community its newest designation as a LEVEL IV NICU Unit. To be able to announce this on Neonatal nurses day is a huge honor and we are so excited to share this with everyone.

What does being a NICU IV mean to you? It means we provide the most experienced multidisciplinary team of specialists, neonatal technology and most experienced newborn transport team to help improve long-term outcomes for infants, some weighing as little as 1 pound.

We want to thank everyone who continues to support us as we move forward with the best healthcare for the children of El Paso and its surrounding communities.
