Costco is Helping El Paso Children’s Hospital Change Kids’ Health May 1-31

Local children’s hospitals are on the frontlines when protecting the health of future generations. But they can’t do it alone. Each dollar that Costco and its members raise through Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals (CMN Hospitals) improves the health of kids allowing them the opportunity to grow to their full potential.

During the month of May, you can help to change kids’ health for local children’s hospitals through CMN Hospitals during the annual Costco fundraising campaign. Shop online or in-warehouse at Costco, donate to help kids like Hailee Ozaeta, 2023 El Paso Children’s Miracle Network Local Champion.

Hailee received a diagnosis of acute lymphoblastic leukemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow, at El Paso Children’s Hospital a month before her ninth birthday. During her cancer journey, Hailee and her family found hope and positivity through the hospital’s Child Life and Arts programs. Painting and making slime are activities she particularly enjoys to boost her spirits. After three years of treatment, Hailee completed chemotherapy, but unfortunately relapsed a year later and resumed treatment. Throughout her experience, Hailee has never stopped being grateful for the support she received from her family and the care team at El Paso Children’s Hospital. Now 14 years old, Hailee actively seeks ways to help others, we are so proud of her advocacy for others

The Costco fundraising campaign runs through May 31 where funds go to local children’s hospitals through CMN Hospitals to directly help kids like Hailee in our community. Since 1988, Costco employees and members have donated more than $436,000 for kids treated at El Paso Children’s Hospital.
