CMN Works with El Paso Children’s in Support of Newborns with Lung Problems

Life Pulse High Frequency Jet Ventilator and Accessories – $37,916

Funded by El Paso Children’s Hospital Foundation, the Life Pulse High Frequency Jet Ventilator provides life support for critically ill premature newborns and infants born with lung problems with mechanical ventilation that gives small breaths at a rate four times greater than the average newborn. This is gentler and reduces lung injury, allowing the infant time to heal. It is considered “rescue therapy”. Each year the demand for this type of ventilator has increased.
