Local Walmart and Sam’s Club Associates, Customers and Members Raise $183,399.95 for El Paso Children’s Hospital

Walmart and Sam’s Club associates, customers and members in El Paso, Texas put their money where the miracles are during the annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals fundraising campaign.

 

The El Paso Community raised $183,399.95 for El Paso Children’s Hospital. The effort was part of a national campaign for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals.

 

Donations poured in June 10 through July 7, as Walmart and Sam’s Club associates at 24 locations held various in-store fundraising activities and asked customers and members at the register to help kids live better. Store’s fundraisers included car wash, car show(s) to wrapping the store manager to a chair to and even tapping the store manager to the wall.

Walmart and Sam’s Club funds impact each of the 170 Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which treat one in 10 children across North America. Hospitals use the funds based on what they need most — typically providing lifesaving equipment and research, supporting top therapy programs and providing charitable care.
